THE MOST INTERESTING PLACE

One of my favorite natural wonders is the amazon river system.  Most people think this river is only a single river like the Nile or the Mississipi River, when actually is the combination of several hundreds small rivers that meet each other in Brazil to form the Amazon River System. The amazon is not just a river system is an ecological system, it is the Lung of the world, responsible for creating about 30% of the oxigen in this planet. As I travel to a small portion of the amazon, I admire the diversity of the people that live in its shores, their culture, their love for the river and for the fauna that lives in it.  The amazon contains more variety of fish than any other place on earth execpt the big oceans.  In the amazon you can find the largest snake, the most agressive fish ( Piranha), shalow water sharks in sweet water, the smallest snake, the largest and passive fish.  The amazon is a contrast in any way you look at it. Giving life to this planet, with every unit of oxigen that it produces, protecting plants that may be the answer to medical illnesses, preserving cultures that have been lost to modern life and providing fresh water to the oceans and promoting currents that spread the life throughout the world.
